Going Rogue: An American Life ( ISBN 0061939897 ) is the New York Times #1 best seller by former American Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin, co-written by Lynn Vincent of San Diego,[1][2] and edited by Adam Bellow for HarperCollins.[3] The memoir was released on November 17, 2009, and became the third political memoir in history to sell more than 1 million copies.[4]
The book's title is a reference to a phrase that arose during the latter part of the 2008 presidential campaign.[5] Palin embraced it after the question, "Has Sarah Palin 'gone rogue'?", appeared in the lead of an article in the magazine, Slate.[6] The subtitle, "An American Life", is the same as the title of Ronald Reagan's 1990 autobiography.
